What Symptoms Do You Feel When MG Effects Your Stomach? I'm Having Some Discomfort In My Upper Tummy Area. Perhaps A Side Effect Of Meds?

Neil , I taking Gylcopyrrolate 1 mg for diarrhea 3 x a day ,I'm also on 120mg of Pyridostigmine 3 x a day , my stomach just cramps like crazy especially if I have gas , it's all from the meds , it doesn't happen all the time but when it does its not pleasant. Eat these if might help get it all out,

Hello Neil, I have ulcerative colitis, so I am not sure my stomach issues are due to the MG. If you continue having upper stomach pain, I think it would be a good idea to reach out to your doctor to make sure something else isn't going on.

Myasthenia gravis itself doesn't directly affect the stomach, but some medications used to treat MG, like pyridostigmine, can cause stomach-related side effects such as discomfort, diarrhea, or cramping.
