I still have some diarrhea but not as bad as it was. But you know in conjunction with all the medicines we take it could be from anything but the extended is the only way to go for me that's not for everybody but it's for me but yes reach out to your doctor and see if he can't get you on that

Yep, watery eyes is a given with it. Frustrating for me because I am an eye liner junky. ...I don't wear much otherwise as far as makeup goes, but I love my eye liner and lip gloss. Hard to find a waterproof one that can hold up against the effects of mestinon.

But does anyone else struggle really badly with an even worse side effect? Not to be overly open....I hope no one gets all bent out of shape or judgy-like lol, but can we just talk about the "digestion" issues it causes? I mean I absolutely despise having to "go" every day, but then the more mestinon you take, the more often you have to "go"! And I am not one bit happy about that on top of everything else that completely changes my facial features. I have to have diarrhea too? Booo. Now, I know it could always be worse, and after everything and knowing what is actually possible, I am BLESSED and LUCKY. I'm just a little frustrated today is all. You know? Don't come for me πŸ˜‰

One of the things a lot of us deal with is the "increased secretions" that Mestinon causes. It was one of the first things I was told about when Mestinon was first prescribed. Interestingly, I still have dry eye syndrome, but also have really watery eyes at times, so it's always one extreme or the other.
There are medicines that help. I use Ipratropium nasal spray. It's a prescription med so you might want to talk to your doctor about it if it really bothers you.

My left eye is what Waters the most because my left eye seems to be more affected than my right eye the Mestinon does help. Sometimes I just wear a clear mascara just to have the visual of eyelashes

Yes, side effect of Mestinon. My dosage was increased so I also drool at night. We are all just "Living the Dream", but still living. ☺️
