I take pyridostigmine @ 8 hrs. 7A 3P & 11p.
60 mg plus 1/2 a pill. So guess that’s 90 mg. 3x day. Plus one prednisone 20 mg in am. I found if I take my pay with food I have less side effects. So I take my am & on dose with 1/2 cup sf applesauce. I do have some increase in secretions in my mouth from the py, and some has & some morning loose bowels. I take fiber for my diviticulitis issue but I think that actually helps to bulk up my stool so my loose bowels are not a big problem. Hope someone can find this helpful?

I'm on Pyridostigmine ( Mestinon ) 120mg 3 x a day and Glycopyrrolate 1mg 3 x a day for the diarrhea it helps , I started out on 60mg 3 x a day in February, we have increased it 2 times seams to be working with opening the eye but I still have double vision , Opmologist fitted me with prisoms for my glasses help a lot , Neurologist wants me to try pretisone short term , I told him we'll talk in April, oh ya I was diagnosed with Ocular MG ❤

When I was diagnosed my ophthalmologist put me on 10mg prednisone and that took away the double vision with in a day or 2 . Iam still on prednisone but down to 2mg and the neurologist is fine with that if I can’t get of

Hi I take mestinon 4-5 times a day it helps and about after a month most side effects wore off. Somtimes still get nauseous and i chew on ginger chews from trader joes it helps.

I currently take 2 Mestonin 4x per day, each tablet 60 mg. My neurologist says this is the maximum amount of the drug with combining 3 cellcept 2x per day. The key I found with mestonin was to take it very religiously on schedule, every 4 hours during waking time. Any longer than a five hour interval gave me MG symptoms. The cell cept was started at 3 in the morning and 3 at bedtime but I found that my body was getting an overlap double dose and being shortchanged the other hours. I adjusted my timing to 3 pills at 11 am and 3 at 11 pm. This has greatly helped!
