I am usually put on Clindamycin when I need one. It works well for me....but I cannot honestly say for sure that it is approved for MG patients. It doesn't seem to affect mine though.

It is my understanding, that. none of them will tell you what to take. Even primary care doctors. They will give you. Is a list of antibiotics that you should not take with MG. if you find in Neurologist that will recommend an Antibiotic, you are fortunate!

No, Neurologist would give me an answer as to what antibiotic I could take. Nor would my primary care doctor. So I contacted my orthopedist who did my replaced hips and knee and asked them to give me a letter that I no longer needed antibiotics for my dental procedures. They are sending me a letter that is the only way the dentist will do me cleaning or fillings or any other dental work. They all have to cover their butts so now I am on my own to take the letter to my dentist and just pray that I don’t get an infection when I have a cleaning or a pill or an extraction of a tooth , only thing I could do I have to have a dentist. Trusting the word for a result. πŸ™
