You should talk to your MG doctor regarding vaccinations. At minimum you need 2 different meningitis vaccines for certain monoclonal antibody infusions to fight the disease. When you take immunosuppressants, including infusions for MG, they suppress your systems and you can get lower respiratory infections and UTI’s.

With MG people usually pass away from respiratory failure. You need to do whatever keeps you healthy and at least risk for these infections. These infections are harder for myasthenia to fight. Please keep this in mind and work with your doctors to do what is right for you.
