Is It A Good Idea To Get Flu Vaccine And Covid?
I haven’t had any COVID vaccines and no flu vaccines for the last 5 years. A month ago I got a pneumonia vaccine since I was hospitalized with pneumonia in January. It was recommended by my PCP and was advised by the pharmacist that it would be safe for someone with MG. The day after I got the shot my MG symptoms went from ocular to eyelid drooping and extreme fatigue and muscle weakness. I will be getting no more vaccines.
I have always gotten all mine never any problems last year flu , RSV ,and covid , but I was just diagnosed in February with MG and I don't go to my Neurologist until.October , and he never mentioned them to me just wondering if they were ok with MG,
Yes, I get the flu vaccine every year. I have had all the Covid vaccines and the booster shot for it. No reactions except sore arm for a day. I do what my Dr. recommends. That is why I go to him.
Have you had the RSV or Covid vaccines?
