I Have Had 5 Covid Vaccine Shots, Last One Over A Year And A Half Ago. Should I Get Another One? About To Go On Trip
There is such a controversy on the covid shots that my wife and I have declined to have any more, even though I have gMG. My neurologist said to avoid people and places where there are lots of people. I would think that being cooped up in an airplane or travelling around would be exposing yourself to lots of bad stuff, especially covid. My neurologist also said to me that everything you do with people involved is a risk to your MG health and you have to weigh the risk vs the reward. Better safe than sorry.

Interesting that Dr. Fauci, former Chief Medical Advisor to the President, has now caught Covid for the 5th time. One would think that he has had every shot and booster available but still cannot avoid getting Covid. Perhaps one can make a conclusion from that example.

Hello George. I saw my PCP yesterday and he suggested that I get the new Covid vaccine.
I would. They say the COVID shots are only good for about 6 months. We went on vacation and came home with COVID. Our last shots were in October 2023. My husband has MG, it was really hard on him.
