I Want To Know If Anyone Else Has Leg Cramps Every Night And Most Days. They Get So Bad I Can't Even Walk.
Hi Glenda! I usually only have leg cramps at night, but they can definitely be pretty bad. I keep potassium tablets on hand and use that when they're really bad. My neurologist has told me that it's okay to take an extra Pyridostigmine when that happens, so I sometimes do that, too. You might want to ask your doctor about that... probably shouldn't do it unless your doc okays it.
I like Jerrie's advise about pickle juice and bananas! I can't tell that bananas make much difference for me, but I also have low sodium and am thinking that pickle juice should be good for that, as well.
Best of luck to you with finding a good solution!

I drink pickle juice at night before going to sleep, along with eating a banana. It helps with the night leg cramps š«
There is always a jug of this in my fridge!
Leg cramps can be a symptom of myasthenia gravis (MG), as muscle weakness and fatigue are common issues. However, it's important to discuss this with your neurologist to determine the exact cause and appropriate treatment.
