May not be MG related, but I have frequent heart pounding. Also have off and on irregular heartbeat. Doctor not concerned about it at this time. Started after my MG diagnosis, quite the coincidence

My first neuro prescribed COQ10 along with my baby aspirin 81mg. That was 11 yrs ago. I've had some scares in that time but my doctors have always told me my heart muscle is strong. So be safe and take the vitamin supplements and the 81mg aspirin daily. Your heart is a muscle. Walk when you can and rest when you can't. Don't stress. Stay hopeful 😎

Faye has trouble with the racing pounding heart, too. And has had the premature ventricular Contractions, we noticed both of these not long before her diagnosis. May or may not be directly caused my MG, but I do believe it is related. Too many of us on here noticing the same things. I think a lot of issues aren’t ‘directly caused’ by the MG, but yet are indirectly influenced or caused by the way MG affects other parts of the body, if that makes sense? This could be one of those indirect things 🤷🏻‍♀️

Some of the medications we take will cause rapid heart beat. Cardiologist thought I might have a fib along with my MG. Had a loop recorder for a month now I have an implanted recorder. After 2 months NO afib.

I also will get heart pounding and racing heartbeat for no reason. Just seems to come out of nowhere and last for several minutes. Not sure why it happens to me.
