YesIve had lower back get weak and sore after overuse is and strain and was very sad. Had 3 disks replaced a year ago. Much better. Can not over do it or spasms start. I do back exercises and move as much as possible every day. The stronger I keep my core the better. I’ve used heat, pain salve, alieve. Tylenol. I take anti inflammatory supplements regularly.

I had a pinched nerve in my back in the Fall. It was awful. I went to PT for 6 weeks and was finally able to move normally after about 4 months. I walked with Nordic poles and used music playlist for rhythmic stimulation and still continue a strict routine of stretching, strength training, walking and swimming to stay strong and avoid a repeat of the issue. So far so good! Good luck!

Yes I was taking a statin , so, I stop it to see if that caused it and sure enough in a few days my back got better , I also see a chiropractor regularly to get adjusted, now to watch my cholesterol it wasn't very high to begin with.
