I’m Having New Symptoms Weakness In Neck And My Neurologist Is Unavailable Until 28th Is This An Issue That I Should Take To Emergency Room?
I started with ptosis of eye and weakness in legs while climbing stairs and my condition improved for a while about 1 month ago I started having double vision which then clear up but now it has moved to my neck not so bad while sitting but makes it difficult to walk, taking pyridostigmine and low dose of hydrocortisone
Wound up going to ER it was a pretty big flare had to start a 5 day IVIG cycle, feeling allot better besides headaches and occasional chills, hopefully back home tomorrow
My double vision started 6 months before the symptoms moved to my neck and arms. So it sounds like you are transitioning from ocular to Generalized MG. I haven't gone to the ER for any symptoms yet, but I have gone to bed several nights telling myself I'd go if I still felt as bad as in the morning as I did when I went to bed. I'm on pyridostigmine 4x120mg. Helps some but not enough yet to go to back to work. Waiting for next doctor appointment to start other meds.
I'm Two Weeks Off Of Prednisone And Still Weak As Ever..maybe Worse. Didn't Have This Issue Prior To Prednisone. Just Dbl Vision. Awful Awfu
May A Crisis Sometimes Feel Like An Asthma Attack? I Have Never Been In Crisis, But Have Had Had Asthma In The Past.
I Have MG But My Neurologist Also Thinks I Have “functional Neurological Disconnect.” Anyone Else Hearing This From Their Doctor Too?
