Regarding Esophagus Issues..
I appreciated the comments on the esophagus and feeling full after earring even a minimal amount. I will see a gastroenterologist in October because of this feeling I have in the esophagus and wanting to know f my meds of mestinon and cellcept are bothering me. Any opinions are welcome.
Hi Robin,
No replacement for CellCept right now. Because I was facing sepsis and cellulitis, getting off this helped for wound healing and infection fighting. Ultimately my stomach and esophagus felt better being off the CellCept too.
So for now one battle at a time. Am happy to share when we find substitute medicine. I wish I had something more to share that could be helpful.
For now a Proton pump inhibitor and something like sucralfate are helping my GI issues.
More news when I can on this subject. For now fighting MG with traditional mestinon and infusions every 8 weeks. I also take steroid but staying within biological function range for dosage (20mg cap) and tapering down now that infection has run its course.
For now, please yβall take care
Terri, have they replaced the cellcept? If so, how have you been doing with there new meds? Faye has a lot of GI issues, and I had been considering asking about cellcept, but it sounds like that might not be the best option considering her other medical conditions. Thanks for your help π₯°
I have my suspicions regarding cellcept. Thanks for answering.
My GI suggested CellCept was a contributing culprit to some of my GI issues too.
With a recent infection we stopped Cell Cept and some of my issues got better.
