I'm pretty sure it would have been the anti-AChR antibody test, if the test even existed back then. Good question! Maybe someone has the exact answer with a reference.

I started out on mytalese which was the first medication that came out for it. I couldn't take mestinon. I was told that I tested negative for the only MG antibody they could test for back then. I'd like to know what that was. I'm beginning to think that the doctors don't tell us the details!
