I take 3 mestinon and 1 Imuran. After minimal activity I get extremely fatigued and need rest. Started out several years ago as ocular which is not as bad now though I don't drive if tired. Now it is Generalized MG. I have quite a few manifestations now but still functioning though I am retired. Got MG in 70's which is unusual for a woman. Have a fabulous neurologist finally!

I am newly diagnosed 4 months ago so I work with my neurologist for any changes in meds. I see her in two weeks and will be able to tell her the two 60 mg mestinon and one 10 mg presdisone has made a difference in my energy level. I am doing a little more and having to sleep less during the day to make up for any activity. I’m happy with this so far. Not expecting a lot with this disease. Have a great day!

Even though I was just diagnosed in Dec., going back 10 years, I can remember having this fatigue and muscle weakness, but I got a lot of, your getting older, you have to watch your stress level, maybe your just depressed, because my husband passed away 8 years ago.
A lot of doctor know what is is, some didn’t at first, but how to treat is is any other story.
