I've been on for over 3 years. My Dr started my off low 500mg 2 times a day. I started feeling the effect about 4 months, he then started increasing it 500mg every 4 months till I reached 2000. He stopped after that because of my blood work. It took about 18 months to feel the full effects. You should be taking folic acid with the cell cept. I'm now down to 1000mg a day because he put me on Soliris infusions.

Hi Jerrie! I can't help at all since I haven't been on it, but do hope you get some responses that include personal experiences. In my opinio, it takes both those experiences and the science to develop an understanding of what MG is and does. I'll be interested to follow... the more info the better!

@A MGteam Member I have seen this, and it does help. Thank you for your response. 🙂
My question, tho, is aimed more towards personal experiences with the drug, since we are all snowflakes in this MG storm. I have seen some people in comments on other groups I belong to where it has taken someone 6 months to notice a change in their symptoms, and then the difference wasn't worth the side effects experienced by this individual, so they discontinued the medication.
