Very Interesting I wear cross hearing aides , because I had a acoustic nuroma on my right ear removed in 2011 I lost my hearing in that ear ,but since I've been diagnosed with MG my ears have been giving me trouble with fluid on them and high pitches are a problem and soft voices , think I'll talk to my Neurologist and autoligist , just got new hearing aides and had them.connected to Bluetooth box that connects to tv just love it❤

I have a mild to moderate hearing loss, and I wear bilateral hearing aids 🦻🏻-- I have been since I was 34, and I am now 41. I recently researched hearing loss and gMG and there is a fascinating, interesting *possible* link between hearing loss and myasthenia gravis. There are surprisingly small muscles in the inner ear that myasthenia gravis antibodies can attack, leading to subclinical hearing loss, also there *may be* some link between AChr clustering and the outer hair cells of the inner ear. Here is the article I read on PubMed for hearing loss and gMG. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5718710/. I hope this helps because I was always wondering where my hearing loss was coming from, especially when I presented at 34 with it. I need to ask my neuromuscular specialist about it for more validation and explanation. But my hearing loss is asymmetric, sensorineural, mild-to-moderate, with high-frequency most impacted. My audiologist recently reprogrammed my Widex hearing aids with more bass, and it's been awesome! I am getting new UHC Relate Brand hearing aids next Friday, they link with Bluetooth so I can stream Audible, music, and phone calls ... I can't wait! It will be a great victory to answer calls through my hearing aids and hear music!!! 😁

It Paul4 yesterday I went to my pcp she confirmed I was treated for a sinus infection that has cleared up but I still have some fluid on my ears she said sometimes it will take a month for the fluid to clear up , I have a appointment with a ENT in February she said keep it , if I still fill a little plugged see her if not go ahead and cancel , it had nothing to do with my MG❤
