I was in major fatigue for a few months. Then napping four to five times a day. Coughing relentlessly. Can choking on food become a flare up?

Thank you all for your answers I had a real serious exacerbation of coughing spasms last year that lasted for about 4 months I lost bladder control. it was just horrible and no doctor ever said that you're in a flare-up or is some kind of a crisis. and my doctor sent me to a pulmonologist who said that the blood pressure medicines was creating the problem it created the problem, but mg made it worse they took me off of the medication and like within a few days the coughing stopped. I was so thankful I thought that I was going to die. I couldn't even leave the house I had to stay close to the bathroom I was wearing pads changing out of size five pads hourly it was just that bad.
My memory is terrible. So it's difficult to remember medications and dosages. Thank you MyChart

I had two exacerbation episodes, both from a medication. One was Compazine for nausea. 2nd dose I was unconscious for the most part, administered Tensilon which helped immensely, Spent 2 days in ICU. Stay away from this med. The second was an anti inflammatory. Aggrenox, paralyzed my legs and severely hindered breathing and could not speak for about 3 hours.

If I started choking on food, I knew it was time to get to the ER. That was the sign that it was even worse that a flare and into exacerbation ( for the longest time I believed they were used interchangeably but they are not) When I would get super tired and fatigue set in, the choking my neurologist always sent me to the hospital.
Though I am in remission from generalized MG right now, I do not ignore symptoms and try to stay alert to changes, any changes in my health. Please be careful!
