I take it 3 x a day
Prednisone can actually cause diabetes I know of several people it has happened to. I am now on it myself. Dr. increased me from five MG to 20 MG every morning. I am praying that I do not get diabetes from it! But it did help along with the. PY to make me feel stronger just be careful. Watch your carbs!
I also tried it once, and the effects were really scary so I told my neurologist to find something else. I was on prednisone, which I liked, and which had little side effects for me. Gradually was weaned off the prednisone. But I have been on azathioprine for a couple of years and it has worked well for me. I do have pyridostigmine in my med shelf, but only for emergency usage.
