I get the hiccups a lot , I take meds for gerd

I’ve got it too. Take ozempic. If I miss a day I pay for it. Probably has to do with slow stomach emptying I think I eat half of what I used to

Good afternoon MGers. I also have Gerd and take Famotidine for it. And I also take antacids almost daily. Might have something to do with MG or perhaps it is the several cups of coffee I drink daily to get some energy. Or as mentioned by another MGer, it could just be old age.

I had reflux and started taking esomeprazole magnesium over the past 2 years. The prescription co-pay was a lot, so I got the generic delivered monthly. I have a friend who has esophageal cancer recently and advised me to be vigilant about taking it to avoid the problems he went through (surgery, radiation, chemo, etc.). I haven't experienced reflux since or used antacids since.
