When You Get Covid What Do You Do? Go To You Primarily Doctor?
I go to CVS to get my flu and covid shots every year
Hello All:
I think the best way is to avoid catching covid. Not easy, but if you avoid contact with people as often as possible, you reduce the chances of catching it. If you do get covid, do the home test and, as indicated above, go immediately to the hospital if breathing becomes labored. Actually my Neuro doctor said to call for an ambulance, as they are prepared immediately to assist your breathing and when they arrive at the hospital you are immediately admitted-no waiting room delays. If the symptoms are mild or non existent, keep an eye on them and stay home and rest. The meds we take for MG reduce our immunity to everything so consider the risk you are taking every time you want to get out and among people.
Cheers, Bill Z
Honestly I don’t know. Even though several people around me including my husband contracted covid, I never tested positive. I did go to my pcp and was tested a couple times but fortunately was negative including the self tests at home.
Have you ever had a reaction to your MG from it?
