Anyone Notice A Connection With Myasthenia And Migraines? I Was Told No Connection From My Neurologist But I Haven’t Had Any Since Treatment
Hi Suzanne! I haven't spent much time thinking about whether there's a connection or correlation between MG and migraines, but my experience seems to be the opposite of yours. I have had a few migraines since my diagnosis and treatment, which is primarily pyridostigmine. I had actually gone several years without migraines as I've aged, and the same was true for one of my sisters. I will say that my headaches have not been as severe since MG as they were before, but the fact that I have them again does cause me some concern. I've wondered if the eye strain and sensitivity might be partially to blame?
Happy for you that you're not having migraines, Suzanne!! Hope the coming week is a good one!
