Has Anyone Had Prigivin Infusion Treatments And Do They Help. With My Insurance It Will Cost Me Over $800 Per Month. Is It Worth It?
I started IVIG in March. I get it every 2 weeks in 2-day treatments, 5 hours each. The 1st treatment was a product I didn't tolerate well, but the doctor changed it to Gamunex3 and I'm doing fine with that. The key for me is to drink at least 64 oz of water for a couple of days before infusion. Hydration is key. 🙂
Thanks, I have an appt with the pharmaceutical company to see if I qualify for the subsidy, I also have a list of companies who help with the payments. After speaking with my wonderful Medicare insurance gal, she told me that if I go to an infusion center or a doctor's office for the infusion, Medicare will cover 100% under my plan B!. I had asked for in home, but for $800 I will go to a center!
Thanks... How long have you been on it? And have you seen any improvement in your symptoms? How long does the infusion take? And do you have any side effects?
I was initially declined. The doctor appealed and it was approved. These things happen with IVIG and insurance. Hopefully, it will all work out for you 🙂
I just hope it gets approved if I have the doctor change location of the infusion
