Hi Sherri:
I was thinking of the same issues also. In my case, being 78 years old, the ole muscles for bladder and bowel control are not as good as they were 20 or more years ago so it is hard to blame gMG for the decline. I do noticeably need to stay close to the bathroom every day and get up every 3 hours at night. I have not complained to my doctors because I really don't want more meds to take. I just am cautious and consider the "needs" I will experience during each day.
Cheers, Bill Z

When I spoke to my neurologist and the manufacturer if vgvgart they say that’s not really part of this disease. When I asked if they did any studies on this the answer was no. I informed them that on these support site this is a very big problem. I really don’t think they know all of the effects of these new meds are going to bring on.

My name is Joy S. I was diagnosed 7 years ago. I do not have bladder or bowel control. I have to stay near the bathroom where ever I am - anywhere all the time. I take Cellcept. Not fun.
