Rhythm helps speaking and singing can help word finding and speech. If you can sing along with music you like for a bit as a daily exercise, it could help. Be careful and check with your doc. I wouldn’t want you to overdo and have a negative outcome

Yes, I stammer, with hesitation in getting my words out and it is annoying. I am on Pyridostigmine and steroids. Not sure what the case would be with other meds. I was just diagnosed in the fall last year, and spent 2 months in the hospital, half of that time in ICU, while my medical team tried to figure out what would work for me. My Dr told me he had never had a case that was as treatment resistant as mine. I had 2 rounds of IVIG, a plasmapharesis procedure, and 2 rounds of Rituximab. Finally, my body started reacting to everything they threw at me, and my symptoms improved. I still have days of weakness, my vision has greatly declined and I have speaking difficulties. I consider myself blessed, since I coded while in the hospital, was on a ventilator, had a feeding tube and tracheostomy. My family was told to "get my affairs in order" and prepare for the worst. I now just take things one day at a time 🙂
